What to look for in a course
Separate research and population-health courses from qualifications that lead to clinical practice. A health-related degree does not automatically qualify you to practise a regulated profession.
For programmes with clinical learning, ask about placement arrangements, health checks, language requirements and any additional checks before you commit.
Compare laboratory science, public health and health management pathways by your preferred work setting. Confirm registration requirements directly with the relevant authority.
Questions to ask before you apply
- What subjects or prior experience does this exact programme require?
- Which modules are compulsory, and how much choice do I have?
- How are projects, placements and assessments structured?
- What costs sit outside the published tuition fee?
